As a technology leader in the field of neurosurgical implants, we develop and manufacture highly specialized solutions for the drainage of cerebrospinal fluid - with precision, innovative strength and responsibility for our patients suffering from hydrocephalus. As part of our Development Mechanics team, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of complex mechatronic systems for active medical devices.

YOUR TASKS
- You will develop mechanical and/or mechatronic components for active medical devices.
- You will be responsible for the integration of (interdisciplinary) subsystems.
- You are involved in and/or responsible for the introduction and optimisation of processes in product development.
- You provide support in the development and improvement of assembly and manufacturing processes.
- You carry out verification and validation tests, including functional, safety, performance and usability tests.
- You create design controls and implement risk management measures.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or information technology
- At least 5 years of practical experience in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering or software engineering, with experience in integrating these disciplines to develop complex systems in the medical technology environment
- Knowledge of regulations, standards and quality management systems for medical devices is an advantage
- Proficiency in agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Ability to efficiently analyse and solve complex problems
- Clear and transparent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and networks
- Willingness to learn about new technologies, tools and best practices
- Fluent written and spoken English
